IS "CRAZY" A SYMPTOM OF LONG COVID?

I know these past 3 years have been rough for everyone.  Sickness, Death, trauma of all kinds has affected so many people so quickly. I can't imagine what it was like to lose a loved one and not even be able to say goodbye or have a funeral. But that ain't no excuse for folks to be aggressively crazy. Folks is losing it. I've seen more news reports of chain snatchings and smash and grabs than there were in the 80s. At least folks had somewhat of an excuse then. THEY WERE ON CRACK. I'm going to say (write) this and y'all already know I give zero fucks.  Most of the people out here that are THAT desperate to commit crime including theft, murder, fraud, extortion, and what the fuck ever else....You did it to yourself.  Now, I'm not talking about single parents who suddenly had huge child care bills. Nor am I talking about the struggling family that was already living paycheck to paycheck. I am also not talking about the people who were already homeless and impove...

CHINESE FOOD AIN'T HITTING THE SAME

...for some reason. I could blame the pandemic but I noticed a difference BEFORE all this mess started. I remember there used to be more sit down restaurants. Back in late 90s and early 2000s it was actually a treat to get Chinese food. None of it tastes the same. The Egg Foo young is soggy. The spare ribs are barely there. The fried rice is greasy and chock full of onions. The only thing that still tastes good is the egg drop soup but you'd have to be a complete fool to fuck that up. I fear we are entering a time where the sit down restaurant will become expensive again. Not because of corporate greed but because of the delivery take over.  I think I'm just going to make my own Chinese food. Jerk chicken fried rice sounds like the truth.  OO What about oxtail egg rolls? You can stuff them with the Caribbean style cabbage and some of that gravy baby! They playing with the wrong one!

THE BENEFITS OF BEING WORTHLESS

This pandemic has taught me many things: how to properly order a pizza, how to ration toilet paper, pacing myself through binge watching shows on netflix... But I'd have to say the most valuable lesson the pandemic taught me is how to embrace my inner loser.  I was depressed before the pandemic. But once that shut down started it was my time to shine.  I have always been a homebody. I love to cook a meal and stay in. And I absolutely LOVE late night gaming.  What better time to get schooled in a game than another continent's time zone? I learned a lot about losing late at night.  I learned how to lose with grace. I learned how to laugh at failure. But most importantly I learned that being a loser is a built in defense and security system. Now that the pandemic has calmed down (no one has officially said it was over) the statistics are starting to come out.  Apparently domestic violence and child abuse rates skyrocketed during the shut down.  Welp, th...

EVERYONE SHOULD BE JEALOUS OF MILLENNIALS

I didn't even know I was a millennial until I looked it up. The term not just describes a group of people born in a certain time in history, but also a culture that is fading like those before it.  ...but you should still be jealous of us.  If it weren't for us you wouldn't have VR headsets, switches, PS5s or any of that shit.  If it weren't for us you wouldn't have twerking contests. Our teen movies inspired a whole genre of children's television that hasn't really been topped since. There would be no That's so Raven without Clarissa Explains it all. There would be no Love and Hip Hop without The Real World. All the "trap" music out there now in some way recycles the samples from the hip hop we grew up on. Which in turn sampled the soul, funk, blues and R&B of our parents and your grandparents.  You see TUPAC as a long dead icon. We see him in Cali, Japan, and some island no one knows about in southeast Asia.  It blew my mind the other d...
