- Gaza is not ruled by Israel. So if you hold the truth of what is quoted above they have no right to launch an assault, right?
-The united states is a sovereign country but believe me if another nation were to impede our ability to do business and live in prosperity YOU WILL see some sparks fly.
Israel is not innocent. Yes, innocent people are dying. Innocent people have died all throughout American history and that didn't stop Manifest Destiny or the rampant lynchings of reconstruction nor the forced encampment of Japanese Americans during World War II.
So are all men endowed with these "unalienable Rights?"
Obviously not.
Seems to me like the United States is working off the philosophy of The Great Pike.
"Might is Right."
Maybe I'm just childish. Victory does indeed belong to the strong. If your opponent has more resources and back up, it doesn't matter what is "right."
While that may be true, progress has not happened without the hope and drive toward what is perceived as "right."
Abraham Lincoln didn't have to free the slaves. He didn't even really want to, but did it. Not because the slaves had the might to free themselves but by the very words quoted above the United States had written itself into a Civil War.
The hypocrisy of that document came back to bite.
You may not believe in Karma or redemption but you do believe that if you push that which is tethered to something else it will come back to you.
I don't think that miracles happen everyday where the victims of tyrants and brutes get what they deserve. I'm not that naïve, but I do believe that the pathology of the wicked is their own undoing. For in the negligence of truth and humanity they dig their own graves.
You may say to me: "Look around, the "wicked" have everything."
Or some hit dog will holler: "I worked my ASS off for everything I have."
Not all work is good work. Not all work is to a positive end. Everything that must be done in this dimension requires some form of work. Just because you work hard doesn't mean what you worked for was worth it.
There are plenty of those who work hard while others reap the benefit.
Slave owners had to work pretty hard to make sure their slaves didn't get the better of them.
They made sure they weren't educated.
They split up families.
They dismantled cultural and religious practices.
They formed an entire task force of men and some women to make sure they did not escape.
Just to achieve the enslavement of another.
But who am I to speak on it? My righteousness is but filthy rags, right? Judge not lest ye be judged and all that.
Someone has to say something or we will all live in complete chaos. Without the law you have no order.
Just because you are human and imperfect doesn't mean you shouldn't point out acts of inhumanity, cruelty and injustice.
